Well, it’s been an incredible start to 2018! Since the start of the year, Movebubble’s growth has enabled us to help so many more renters. We recently celebrated 150,000 users!
Last month, we saw record growth with an amazing 240% increase in monthly users and 350% growth in leads. Now, with over 14% of Londoners choosing Movebubble as their preferred way to find a new home, we are hoping to build on this success! Sound good? Connecting tech-savvy millennials with properties
In a recent report from one of the major portals, they say that they saw a 7% decrease in leads but their revenues increased by 10%. They call it “quality above quantity”… or is this just the start of consumers changing their behaviour and renters finding better ways to move? 🤔
Unlike the portals, we’re connecting both sides of the market in a way that millennials love. They’re today’s tech-savvy “generation rent” and we know what makes them tick. Millennials hit the App Store as their one-stop-shop for solutions. They expect services to be accessible 24/7 and “pocket-sized”, and they want everything in one place. We know, because we’re millennials too!
For many of our renters, it’s love at first sight! 1/3 of Movebubblers aren’t searching for property anywhere else. So far, in 2018, 80% of renters we asked said they’d recommend the app to a friend 😍
We put renters at the heart of everything we do. With their help and collaboration, we make sure we build what they actually need. We’ve seen a 350% increase in renter property enquiries so far this year, and we know that around 50% of these enquiries are sent outside traditional office hours. We know our renters are busy at work and don’t have time to be talking on the phone during their 9-5 day. Movebubble enables renters to enquire and schedule viewings on their terms, typically getting a response in under 1 hour. It’s a key feature for our partner agents, to make sure they never miss out on an enquiry.

Introducing… Movebubble Community Feedback! Too often, not all of the information about a property is available online, but we thought it was about time we let our renters set the record straight. For example; are pets allowed? Is the property actually available? Is it actually a shared property?! So if you want to see the most up to date information before you go on a viewing, make sure to check out the property on Movebubble first, because that’s where the community are reporting the latest information. All feedback that’s reported by a renter is shared for everyone to see.
We’re partnering with some of London best agencies. Charlotte, Director of Lettings at JLL told us, “Movebubble’s innovative technology allows JLL to connect and deliver a seamless service to the next-generation of renters.”
Long story short, we help agents connect with renters in the way they prefer to communicate, they can chat, schedule viewings and accept offers from anywhere, which helps them to spend less time tied to the office and more time doing deals!
Latest News: Tube Campaign and Brand Awareness 🚀In the last few months, we’ve been testing underground advertising to work on Movebubble’s growth and we’ve been super pleased with the results. We’re looking forward to partnering with Exterion Media again soon, it was a great channel for us and enabled us to help so many more renters!
Our campaign, #DoingItForRenters, was based around some scenarios that millennials can relate to – that point when they realise that they need to move home! Which was your favourite?
The campaign focussed on our core mission at Movebubble, doing everything for the renters to make renting better! To make it more interactive, we ran a fun selfie competition on Twitter, and one lucky renter won an iPhone X!
